Full of Goodness

Hi there!  Hope you are having a great day!

Here is a card for some friends of ours.  They are a wonderful couple.  They also have a sense of humor so, I am going to write on the inside of the card "That's right!  You are full of it!".  They are full of goodness, inside and out!

This is made with the Blossom paper pack, White Daisy paper, Oceanside Sequins, Artiste Cricut Cartridge, Just Sayin' stamp set, 3D foam tape, Edge Distresser and Lagoon & Sunset inks.

Nice and simple!  Have a great day!

Mother's Day - Pencil Bow

Happy Wednesday!  Well, there are only four more days until Mother's Day!  I wanted to do a little something for the gals at my husbands work.  There was a free cut a in Cricut Design Studio a few weeks ago, that is what I used.  I only put one bow on per pencil, but I think they are still cute.

I had two extra bows so, I used them on the jar and card.  Really simple again.  The most work was putting the bows together - with my two year old in the craft room!  :)

Happy Mother's day!  God bless you!

Thistle - Typed Note

Hi again!  Hope your day is awesome!  Today, I decided to be monochromatic!  Wow!  That word is almost as bad as - supercalafragolisticexpealidocious!  Okay, maybe not.  :)

Here I started with a White Daisy Card base and then just used Whimsey Paper Fundamentals (Both sides of the Thistle colored sheet).
Hope you enjoyed it!  Have a blessed day!

Cuddly Salutations

Hello there!  Today I have a 3x3 card using the Cuddly Salutations Hostess rewards set.  This is such a cute set.  I paired it with the March stamp of the month!  White daisy as the base and a piece of Cocoa scrap to frame the frame. :)  Yeah, I just said that!

I used Archival Black, Cocoa and Desert sand inks.  I also used a couple ShinHan markers...Clay and Mahogany.  I roughed up the edges of the Cocoa paper with the Distress tool.  Why not add a few Gold Sequins!

Hope you are having a great day!  Gotta go, my son is up from his nap!

Wild Wonders 4x6 your story

Hi!  So, today is something a little different.  I made this little book for the parents of a newborn.  It is very simply done.  I used Hollyhock and White Daisy paper, retired washi tape for the pages.  I made it so they could put a wallet size photo on each page.  Each page represents a month.  I tabbed them, starting in March (since that is when she is born).

I thought this would be a nice keepsake of her first year.  Something simple enough, that the parents could and would actually do it.
I also used the super cute Wild Wonders stamp set.  I have used this stamp set, for a few different projects now and love it!  Using the Artbooking cartridge for the giraffe, I popped it up with 3D Foam Tape.  The ink color is Hollyhock and I used Flamingo Dots for a little something extra.

You can see that I popped up the talking bubble as well.
Hope you have a fantastic day!  Thanks for stopping by!

This card was made for some friends of mine, celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary.

I used White Daisy for the base and some Silver Triangle Studs for something extra.

Thanks for stopping!  Have a blessed day!

Rose Blossom "Choose Happy" Blog Hop

Welcome to the blog hop!  If this is not your starting place, you have seen spectacular work, I know.  Marge is one of the best!  If you are starting here, you will be seeing some spectacular work soon!  Just follow the link below. (sounds like the wizard of oz! ha ha).

I just have to say, I love the phrase "choose happy"!  It is absolutely true.  Happiness is something that is chosen.  Circumstances have nothing to do, with whether we are happy or not, it is our choice.
Having said that... While I was making this card, my husband came downstairs.  As he was, he was complaining a little.  Now, my husband is not someone, who complains.  As he was talking, he came over and stood right next to me.  He looked down, paused and I looked up at him, waiting for him to continue.  Then, with a smile he said, "huh, how appropriate is that right now?!"  I turned to look at the card, smiled and looked back up.  He turned to leave and as he did, he said, " I will just go ahead and do that!". :)
The power of words!
Wow, that was a tangent.  But, one worth sharing.

Here it is!  If you don't know me yet, my creations, are usually on the simple side!
I have not decided, if I am going to leave that frame blank or put a picture in it (of my son of course).

I just used White Daisy, Hollyhock and Glacier cardstock.  Black Archival ink for the frame, then colored with Tender Pink ShinHan Marker.  The borders and words, are Slate ink and the cute swirl line, is Hollyhock ink.  I added some Sparkles for a little fun!

Now you are off to Shelly's spectacular creation!  Thanks for stopping by!

Yep!  There it is.  White Daisy cardstock, one stamp set, three stamp pads(Gypsy, Honey & Black) and one ShinHan Twin Touch Marker(Peony Purple).  Oh yeah, a Sparkle too.  That is what the marker was for, to color the sparkle!

A Snowhaven Happy Hello!

Here is a card that could be used for a guy or gal.  But, let's go with the guy!  I mean, if we are really honest with ourselves, there is way more stuff for gals then guys.  Which seems odd to me, because 1/2 the population is male!

Have a fantastic day!

Simple Guy!

Hi there!  Thought I would get a post done quick, while my son should be taking a nap!(I can totally hear him not sleeping.)  :)

Here is another simple "guy" card.  Again, it is imperfect, but it still looks good.  You could put a sentiment on it if you wanted to, or just write on the inside!

Hope you liked it!  Have a fantastic day!

"This Moment" Blog Hop

Hello there!  Welcome to the Rose Blossom "This Moment" Blog Hop!  You may be coming from the lovely Marg's blog.  You are in the right place.  We are featuring the January Stamp of the Month, This Moment.  With a qualifying purchase, you can get this stamp set for only $5!  Check out my website at www.createdbybarbara.ctmh.com for more details.

I decided to focus on the "note" part.  What goes with notes?  A mailbox!  I took the Atriste Cricut Cartridge and made this cute mailbox.  The only papers I used were White Daisy and Cranberry.  I wanted to use as much of the stamp set as possible.  Using a very loosely colored "XOXO" stamp, with the Hollyhock Stamp Pad, I stamped the entire body of the box.  I used that stamp pad on everything except the "My aim is True".  That is done in the Cranberry Stamp Pad.
Everything is staying together with either Liquid glass or 3D Foam Tape.  To give it a little bling, just add a few Sparkles!
For every order, of $25.00, from now until January 15th, will get a ticket and be put into a drawing.  I will be giving away a bundle, of new, retired product. (1- "Free to be me" paper pack;
I put a lot of pictures in, hoping you would see how cute it really is.  It looks much better in person!

Now you are off to Shelly's Pretty Pieces.  You will love it!

Hope you enjoyed it!  Be Blessed!

Paisley Perfect Flair... Blog Hop!!!

I bet you just came from Marg's Blog.  Isn't she awesome!  By the way, that is more of a statement than a question.

I chose to use "Paisley Perfect Flair" as my featured stamp set.  I guess maybe because it is a little like me!  ("a touch of class and a lot of sass")  :)

I did a card, using White Daisy Cardstock, Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge, Sparkles, 3D Foam Tape and four stamp pads (Honey, Chocolate, Topiary and Cranberry).

Nice and simple!
