Sympathy...

** I will be compensated if you make a purchase after clicking through my links
Hey everybody!  This is a sad card for me.  It is for a very good friend of mine, whose husband died.  He was such a great guy!  Had a smile that no one could be sad around!  He will be greatly missed.

Here, I just layered cardstock; using my Tape Glider.  I put some pop-ups under the top two layers, for some dimension.  I hand cut some banners and layered them as well. The butterfly was cut on my Cricut with Design Space.  The gold banner and top piece of butterfly are both vellum. I also put a few sequins on there.

Cast your care...

Hi!  Here is a card, for a person who may be going through, some not so fun stuff.

I just want to encourage people, who may be going through stuff (which happens to all of us), to try not to take it upon ourselves.  Give it to God.  He will take care of it, if we let him.

Have a great day!

Grandest Birthday Yet!

Happy day to you!!!  Today is actually my birthday!  This card, however, is for my Sister-in-law.  She is 10 years younger than I am, but I am not going to tell you how old either of us are.  :)
I want to say happy birthday to my son as well.  He is 3 now.  I am only 41 years older than him! Oh, I spilled the beans.  That's okay, we are all getting older everyday.  Doesn't bother me a bit!

On this card I used a couple CTMH stamp sets, with a little bling.  (the blogs to the right are CTMH consultants)
I also used a little bakers twine.  The colors I used are not real conventional, but I think they work good together!

Thank you for stopping!!  Have a blessed day!

Condolences...

These are cards you never really want to make.  My Uncle passed away recently.  He was one of the most easy-going people, I have ever known.  A gentle soul.  He will be missed.

Phone Decals Card

Well, hello there!  Hope you are having a great day.  Today, I have a card, that was totally designed for my brother-in-law!  He is on the phone, all the time.  (Unfortunately, this card could be for my husband too.)

I was having a difficult time coming up with something, then it hit me!  A phone!

HERE is Design Space Link!

Then, it hit me again - a texting screen!  If nothing else, it should get a big smile out of him!

Two fonts were used:  Ariel (larger bubbles) & Cricut alphabet (smaller bubbles)
I have to say, I am really liking the writing option in Design Space!  You should try it out!

Go! Explore Alaska! (6 of 6)

Woohoo!  We are on the last two pages!  Here, we have places for 4x6 photos all around!  I am not sure abut you, but I like this book!  It comes to a total size of  7" wide x 9.25" high.  I wanted it to be big enough so you can get those 4x6 photos in there and still have room for some fun!

Oh, I promised you the link, HERE it is!

Go! Explore Alaska! (5 of 6)

Hey there!  Here are pages 7 &8!

Now, the young man that went to Alaska, went to be a fishing guide for the Summer.  He just graduated high school before he left!  I don't know about you, but I think that speaks volumes about his parents.  How many parents teach their children to be independent enough, for them to want to go to Alaska for a Summer, to work?  Unfortunately, the answer is a big fat not many!

The left side is just meant for fun!  I thought it was a nice touch.  The right side has room for a 4x6 photo again.

Go! Explore Alaska (4 of 6)

Here we are, pages 5 & 6!  There is another 4x6 photo spot on the left.  I wanted there to be a lot of larger photos.  I mean, you want to see what is in the photos, right?  On the right side, a 3x3 photo could fit there.

Go! Explore Alaska! (3 of 6)

Okay, we are on pages 3 & 4!  Another 4x6 on the left and 2x2's on the right.  Again, I left room to make notes, wherever they wanted to jot them down.  They could write inside the 2x2 box, instead of putting a picture in them, if they wanted to!

Go! Explore Alaska! (2 of 6)

Are you ready for the first two pages?  Here is post #2!

I have room for a 4x6 on the left and 3 - 2x2's on the right.  I left space so they could write notes, in random places if they wanted to.  This is not meant to be a real "neat" book.  It is meant to capture the time he was in Alaska!

Pathfinding Bookmark

Hello!  I have something a little different today, a bookmark!

I used the Pathfinding Workshop on the go with the chocolate stamp pad.  I actually put the thin 3d foam tape under the "Thankful",  just to pop it up a little and used bakers twine on the top.

This workshop, twine and other things are retiring.  Check out this list, to see if you cannot live without any of these things. :)

Whimsy Fundamentals Thanks

Hi everyone!  I had a few "thank yous" I needed to get out to some very generous ladies, so I made these Pocket cards!  They turned out pretty cute!  A little monochromatic action going on.

Fly!

Hey everybody!  Today is a card for someone who is hurting.  I wanted them to know that they can "fly" and receive their strength & peace through Jesus.  Let's be honest, He is our only hope!  It is the Truth (The Gospel of Jesus), that sets us free.  Unfortunately, we cannot make someone receive a gift, they must take it.

Love, Love, Love this stamp set!

Yay! Done with Diapers!

Hi everyone!  Today, is about potty training.  Okay, I am not going into how to potty train, because I haven't actually done it yet.  Well, I have, my son has not! :)
My son is 2 1/2 and I don't want to deal with diapers anymore.  We are starting to start the process.  He loves balloons and balls, so I have balloons by his toilet and am going to put this box in the bathroom, as incentive to poop in the toilet (He picked out what is in the box).  I will let you know how it goes - ha ha, no pun intended :)

I know it looks really dark with the purple and black, but he likes purple and he picked out a black balloon.

This is what I used: I took a shoe box and glued the cover to the back, for some height.  I was just going to put the gifts in a bag, bucket or plain box, but that just would not be my style! Artiste  (for the balloons) & The First Few Years (for the saying and diaper) Cricut Cartridges. Yay! was free in Design space!

Hope you liked it!  See you soon!
