Thinking of You - Sympathy

I am going to start off by saying, I'm a bit tired of making sympathy cards!  That is what this is, but I just couldn't make another one!  I'm not sure how many I have made this last year, but just in the last few months, I've made at least 5!  I couldn't bring myself to do another one.

This is just a couple of different types of cardstock - I just popped up part of it.  Used a few paper flowers with Silver Stickles and some twine.

 Hey everybody!  This is a sad card for me.  It is for a very good friend of mine, whose husband died.  He was such a great guy!  Had a smile that no one could be sad around!  He will be greatly missed.

Here, I just layered cardstock; using my Tape Glider.  I put some pop-ups under the top two layers, for some dimension.  I hand cut some banners and layered them as well. The butterfly was cut on my Cricut with Design Space.  The gold banner and top piece of butterfly are both vellum. I also put a few sequins on there.

Condolences

Hello!  A friend of ours, lost a friend of theirs recently.  That is never an easy thing to go through.  Unfortunately, I am not real good at helping people through times like this.  I don't know what to say - It is not that I don't care.  However, I am finding out that it is good to say something, even though your not sure what to say.  They will know that you care, even if it's not perfect!

Kraft Embossed - Sympathy

How are you all doing today?  Here is a simple Sympathy card.

I used this Branch with leaves Embossing Folder.  I like how the background is subtle, with the pop of the white butterfly.  I think the kraft paper helps with the soft feel as well.
