This cute cupcake is from the SWEET TREATS cricut cartridge.  I also POPPED IT UP to give it a little dimension.

On the line! - Guy Birthday

Hi everyone!  Today I have a card for a fisherman - hooked and on the line!  Yes, this is a guy card!  And, YES, there is pink on the card... Have you ever heard the saying, "Pink in the morning, sailors warning, pink at night sailors delight"?  That is why the pink! 😉

Now that we have that settled, let's get into what I used to make it.  The fish is from the cartridge Camp Out and the water from Going Places.  I used them with my Explore Machine and Design Space.

I just used regular black thread for the line and I used Best Creations Pop-ups under the fish. - (these seem to be my favorite!)

35th Anniversary Card! - Coral

Hi!  Today I have a fun card... at least I think so!  I found out, by way of FB, that it was some friends of mine 35th Wedding Anniversary!  That sent me to seeking out information.

I like to make cards as specific to the person or persons that I can.  I asked myself, "what is the theme of the 35th anniversary?" - I start to google🤔... Coral!  What?  Coral?  How do I pull this one off?  After more time of research, than a person should for a card, this is what I decided to do!

The actual coral is cut out on my Explore Machine, from Design Space, using the Life Is A Beach Cartridge.  The 35 was welded in Design Space, using the CTMH Artbooking Normal Font.  Oh, I added a few embellishments and Pop-ups too!

Even though I usually put a lot of research into my cards and the time can never be justified...it's totally worth it!

Lil' Monster - 2nd Birthay Card!

Hope you are having a wonderful day!  It is very close to Thanksgiving, are you ready for it? 😋

This post isn't about Thanksgiving, at least not in the traditional sense.  I am thankful for my Nephew - it is his 2nd birthday today!  When the idea, of this card came to me, I got a big smile on my face! 😃

 I am actually not into monsters for children.  Actually, I am not into monsters for anyone.  However, for his first birthday, they threw a little monster party.  So for them, I thought it might be okay.

What I did...

I made a square white card, placed black paper down.  I cut the two out of the orange cardstock with my Cricut Explore.  Then I cut out the monster (B is for Boy).  I intertwined the monster and the 2 (Cricut Alphabet), then popped up the orange with the monster.  I took these fun little colored google eyes for his eyes.

I like how it turned out!  I know he really won't, but that is okay! 😃  I hope you enjoyed it though!

15 Year Work Anniversary Card

Hi there!  Hope your day is going well!  Beautiful Fall day here in Minnesota!

 Today, I have a card that was made for a client.  A 15 year work anniversary.

  

I used some great patterned paper, glitter tape and my Cricut Explore with Design Space for this project.  You know, plus the usual pop-ups and tape runner!  :)

60th "Diamond" Anniversary card!

Hi there!  Today I have a fun, 5x5 card, for a 60th Wedding Anniversary!!!  How awesome is that.  It was for my Aunt and Uncle.  I just love that they worked on their marriage for that long!

Now days, some people won't work on it for a year.  Anyway...

 

The 60th Anniversary is the Diamond Anniversary.  So, I wanted to make it white on white with bling!  :)

I used my Explore and Design Space to make the 60 years and the diamond.  I also used Pop-ups under the diamond.
