35th Anniversary Card! - Coral

** I will be compensated if you make a purchase after clicking through my links.
Hi!  Today I have a fun card... at least I think so!  I found out, by way of FB, that it was some friends of mine 35th Wedding Anniversary!  That sent me to seeking out information.

I like to make cards as specific to the person or persons that I can.  I asked myself, "what is the theme of the 35th anniversary?" - I start to google🤔... Coral!  What?  Coral?  How do I pull this one off?  After more time of research, than a person should for a card, this is what I decided to do!

The actual coral is cut out on my Explore Machine, from Design Space, using the Life Is A Beach Cartridge.  The 35 was welded in Design Space, using the CTMH Artbooking Normal Font.  Oh, I added a few embellishments and Pop-ups too!

Even though I usually put a lot of research into my cards and the time can never be justified...it's totally worth it!

I hope you enjoyed it!  Have a beautiful day!

Nurse - We will miss you!

Hello there!  Hope you are having a fabulous day!  Let's see what we have today -

This was made for a client.  A wonderful young lady, who has a beautiful little girl with special needs.  They have nurses that help out and one of them was moving to another state, so she wanted to give her a special card.  This is what I came up with...

This particular nurse likes photography and sewing, that is why the spool of yarn and camera are in her hands!  This really is my favorite thing to create - Custom cards and gifts, from the heart of one person to another.

Here is what I used to create this card...

5 Year Work Anniversary

** I will be compensated if you make a purchase after clicking through my links.

Hello there!   I hope you are having a wonderful day!  Today I have another work anniversary card. These were made for a client as well.  The only person that works at Created By Barbara is me!  :)

I used my Cricut Explore with Design Space, of course!  ;)
The ribbon is from the Plantin SchoolBook Cartridge.  I used a stamp set from CTMH for the star and "Congrats".  I think it may have come with the Artiste Cricut Cartridge.

Have a happy and blessed Independence day!

Another Yuletide Carol Easel Card

Hi there!  Here is one more easel card.  I like how this one turned out too.  I am still using the Yuletide Carol Workshop on the Go!  There is still a lot of paper left!

Again, I just used the paper to my advantage.  Let it do most of the work, it has such a nice pattern.

Thank you for stopping by.  If you have any questions, please feel free to email me or check out my website, www.createdbybarbara.ctmh.com.  Have a blessed day!

Seaside Sun & Shades

Hello there!  So, this was made for my Nephew.  He is in college in Florida.  I had been thinking about him so why not send a card!  Right!?

I used kraft paper for the base and leftover Seaside WOG paper.  Love this paper and stamp set!  It is so versatile, even if you don't live in Florida!!!  The "thinking of you" stamp is from the #30yearsofhappy stamp set.(Which is FREE from CTMH with a $30 stamp purchase!)

The ink colors are Black, Pear & Sorbet.  Oh, Glacier is under there too!
Can you tell I am working on my clustering  :)  Some people have a great talent for that  ;)

Hope you enjoyed it!   I really hope my Nephew does!  :)  Have a blesssed day!

You + Me!

I bet you came from Kristine's awesome blog!  Welcome!!!  We are featuring the #30yearsofhappy stamp set in this Blog Hop. You get this FREE with a qualifying purchase.
I have made three simple cards, using a combination of stamps, from this wonderful set.

Let's start with the 3x3 "You + me are picture perfect"...  I used Black Ink on the CAMERA and the YOU + ME stamp.  I stamped the YOU + ME on white daisy cardstock and cut it out, popping it up with 3D Foam Tape.  The PICTURE PERFECT is stamped in Barn Red ink.  I also used the Edge Distresser on this and the 4x4 card.

The 4x4 "Love is sealed with a kiss"... Honey ink was used for the YOU + ME and ARROW stamps and Cranberry ink was used on the HEART and SWAK stamps.  I scored the paper fundamentals paper at just over an inch in, to make a nice little flap for the sentiment.  I also popped up the you + me on this card.

The final card is "You + me & love = awesome".   Cranberry Cardstock was used to mat the border with stamped white daisy on top.  Honey and Cranberry inks were used on this stamp as well.  I used three generation stamping, with the HEART stamp, in the middle of the card.

Well, that is is for my small part in this Hop, hope you enjoyed it! Thanks for stopping by!

Now hop in over to Kim's terrific blog!
Have fun and be blessed!
