Birthday Burger!!!

** I will be compensated if you make a purchase after clicking through my links.

Hey, if you knew the guy this card was for, you'd laugh out loud!  That is right - LOL
He is a terrific guy and like my husband, loves food!  I am not saying there is anything wrong with that!  I just can't relate.  I have never been one to love food.  It is just a necessity for me.
However, get me around paper and we might have a problem!  ;)

It was an absolute pleasure to make this card.  All of the paper you see on the burger - the color you see, is not what it started as.  I used a few ShinHan Touch Twin Markers...BR116, BR96, Colorless Blender, G46 & Y49.  I used my Explore, Fast Food Cartridge(burger) and Design Space.  I also used my Tape Glider and General Purpose Tape along with Aleene's Clear Gel Tacky Glue & Pop-Up Squares.
This one was a bit of work, but I love how it turned out!

Have a great day and thanks for stopping!

Fishing Birthday!

** I will be compensated if you make a purchase after clicking through my links.

Hi there!  Hope you are having a great day!
Today, I have a card for my nephew, who is turning 17 today!!!!  Happy Birthday Nicholas!!!
Wow!  He is growing up so fast, now he is a young man... sometimes you just want to freeze time.  :)

Well, life keeps moving, doesn't it!  Although, there are times, when you wish it would go faster! LOL!  Anyway, back to the card...
I like how this card turned out.  I had a little "oops", with the stamping - (Good thing it is for my Nephew).  I had to re-stamp. ;)
Oh well, life - be in it, right!

What I used on this card are...
TouchTwin markers R140 & Y49 - moon

Thanks so much for stopping!  Have a blessed day!

Matthew's "1st Birthday" Card!

***I will be compensated if you make a purchase after clicking through my links.

My youngest nephew turned one in November.  Isn't this just the cutest baby piglet?!

Have you ever used your Explore to write (that is if you have one)?  I tell you what, It is pretty cool to use.  I used the writing feature on the sign.  I also used it to spell out "Matthew" and cut it out too!!!!
How cool is that?  Very cool!

I will admit, I did not think I would like using Design Space, as much as I have.  I have been learning some really cool things!

The supplies I used are...
Disney Pooh Font Cartridge - Piglet, Matthew & Sign Font

Hope you enjoyed it!  God bless you!

Go! Explore Alaska! (6 of 6)

Woohoo!  We are on the last two pages!  Here, we have places for 4x6 photos all around!  I am not sure abut you, but I like this book!  It comes to a total size of  7" wide x 9.25" high.  I wanted it to be big enough so you can get those 4x6 photos in there and still have room for some fun!

Oh, I promised you the link, HERE it is!

Go! Explore Alaska! (5 of 6)

Hey there!  Here are pages 7 &8!

Now, the young man that went to Alaska, went to be a fishing guide for the Summer.  He just graduated high school before he left!  I don't know about you, but I think that speaks volumes about his parents.  How many parents teach their children to be independent enough, for them to want to go to Alaska for a Summer, to work?  Unfortunately, the answer is a big fat not many!

The left side is just meant for fun!  I thought it was a nice touch.  The right side has room for a 4x6 photo again.

Go! Explore Alaska (4 of 6)

Here we are, pages 5 & 6!  There is another 4x6 photo spot on the left.  I wanted there to be a lot of larger photos.  I mean, you want to see what is in the photos, right?  On the right side, a 3x3 photo could fit there.

Go! Explore Alaska! (3 of 6)

Okay, we are on pages 3 & 4!  Another 4x6 on the left and 2x2's on the right.  Again, I left room to make notes, wherever they wanted to jot them down.  They could write inside the 2x2 box, instead of putting a picture in them, if they wanted to!

Go! Explore Alaska! (2 of 6)

Are you ready for the first two pages?  Here is post #2!

I have room for a 4x6 on the left and 3 - 2x2's on the right.  I left space so they could write notes, in random places if they wanted to.  This is not meant to be a real "neat" book.  It is meant to capture the time he was in Alaska!

Ice Cream Dream - Truck & Cone

Who doesn't love the ice cream truck?  Where I come from, there never was an ice cream tuck, however, that does not mean I would not have liked it! :)

I am betting, the young man that is getting this card, will like it.  Just for the cone!

The Touch Twin markers I used are really pretty cool.  The more I play with them, the more I like them.

Have a fabulous day!

Ice Cream Dream - Frame

Thought I would do something a little different today!  You may know someone who loves ice cream, this could be the perfect gift!

I took a small wood frame and painted it lightly, just enough to give it color.  Then I used Kraft Cardstock, White Daisy Cardstock, Gold Polka-Dot Wahsi Tape and some Touch Twin Markers.
You may not be able to tell in this picture, but there is a thick coat of Liquid Glass on the ice cream part of the cone!  It makes it nice and glossy!

Hope you enjoyed it!  Have a blessed day!
