Jackson Typed Note - Hello Awesome!

Hey everybody!  Today, there are a couple of things that I stole.  Okay, get your finger off the panic button (that is what my husband would say).  Ideas!  I stole a couple of ideas!  :)
One of the ideas is from Morgan Vogt - using just the top part of the typewriter!  I think it is a cool idea.  The other is from Marg Van Patten - cutting a slit in the bottom of the typewriter, so the piece of paper looks like, and is, actually coming out it.

It is mainly just the Jackson Paper Pack. With a few Gold Sequins, Colonial White paper and of course, the Typed Note Stamp of the Month!  A few other products are Cocoa and Black Ink, 3D Foam Tape and the awesome Edge Distresser!

Hope you had fun checking it out!  Thanks for stopping by and have a blessed day!

Rose Blossom SOTM Blog Hop

Welcome!  You probably came from the Marvelous Marg's - I Didn't Have Potatoes!  Or you didn't, either way I am glad you are here!

The Stamp Of The Month!  Is this not, one of the most awesome things, that Close To My Heart Has!?  Well, at least I think so.  :)  This is another great one!  At first I was a little intimidated by this set, but I think I did okay.
I used the brand NEW paper pack-Blossom!  Beautiful & perfect for Mother's Day!  I started with a White Daisy Card base.  Used a Chevron Embossing Folder in white daisy, Teal Shimmer Trim & Coral Reef SequinsBlack & Lagoon Inks.  Oh, and 3D Foam Tape on top of 3D foam tape!  (Shhhh...I hope my Mother-In-Law Likes it!)

Now you are off to see Shelly's Pretty Pieces!

Rose Blossom Seasonal Expressions Blog Hop

Hi there!  If you have come from I Didn't Have Potatoes, welcome!  Marg had something beautiful, I know!  I can't wait to see it myself!  Welcome!  No matter how you ended up here!

I have actually done a two page layout!  I know!  I am as shocked as you are!  :)
Don't get me wrong, I love to scrapbook!  My terrific two year old, however, takes a lot of my time.

I was determined to use the Hopscotch Paper Pack, to make a BOY layout!!!  Yea, that's right!  A BOY layout!  I believe it has been accomplished!  My sweet boy is in the pictures.  He was pushing a truck, he received from his Grandpa, this last July.

To BOY it up a little more, I used the Fast and Furious (D1541) Stamp Set.  It worked perfectly with my photos. (I actually cannot wait, to use this set a lot more.  I love it!)  The Artbooking Cartridge for the background and the Sunset Chevron Washi Tape, was the perfect compliment, to the patterned paper.

Hope you enjoyed it!  Be blessed!

Now you are off to Shelly's Pretty Piece!  She will have something wonderful!  I will be seeing it soon too.

A Happy Hello Knock Off

Good day everyone!  Hope you are having a terrific day!

This is my rendition, of a fellow Rose Blossom's card, Morgan.  Mine is even more simple than hers. I love Morgan's!  You can call it lazy on my part.  I call it Simple!

Yep!  There it is.  White Daisy cardstock, one stamp set, three stamp pads(Gypsy, Honey & Black) and one ShinHan Twin Touch Marker(Peony Purple).  Oh yeah, a Sparkle too.  That is what the marker was for, to color the sparkle!

You  can get this awesome stamp set, this month only!  With a qualifying purchase, it is only $5.00!

Hope you loved it!  Have a great day!

A Snowhaven Happy Hello!

Here is a card that could be used for a guy or gal.  But, let's go with the guy!  I mean, if we are really honest with ourselves, there is way more stuff for gals then guys.  Which seems odd to me, because 1/2 the population is male!

Have a fantastic day!

Missed the Blog Hop!

Apparently, I do not know how to schedule my blog for auto posting.
I apologize to all of the Rose Blossom's, who were in this Hop.  I know it messed up the connection.
Here it is now...

Welcome to the Holiday Home Decor Blog Hop!  You just came from Tammie's blog I bet.  I know you saw something terrific!

Well, I decided to do a My Creations Pennant Frame, using the Yuletide Carol Workshop On The Go!  Such a great paper and stamp set.

The Artbooking Cricut Cartridge, cuts out the Pennant, perfectly for you.

The Artiste Cricut Cartridge, cuts out these awesome flowers and leaves.  Liquid Glass was used to hold the flowers together.

I stamped the "Peace on Earth" on Colonial White paper, using Black ink.  Then I took the, Sap Green ShinHanart Twin Touch Marker, to give it a little something extra.  I also brushed Liquid Glass over the top of it, to give it some sturdiness.

If you missed any of them, I have all of us participating below!  Have a great time!

Hope you enjoyed it.  Have a blessed evening!

Joyful Birthday - Charming Chevron Card

Good day to you all!  This was a quick card for a friend who likes purple and black.  You may not have noticed that!  LOL ;)

So, I cut my White Daisy cardstock to the wrong length.  OOPS!  It should have been 11 inches.  I cut it at 8 1/2 inches.  It worked out good though.  I still scored it at 5 1/2, to keep the correct size for the envelope.  I just put a 4 x 5 1/4 piece of Black cardstock inside.

Using the Charming Chevrons stamp set, I stamped them , cut them out and popped them up on the open black.  Used the Joyful Birthday stamp set in Black ink right on the White Daisy.  A little twine bow and we are good to go!

Again, very simple!  That s how most of my creations are.  Hope you enjoyed it!  Have a blessed day!

"SUPER" Artfully Sent

Hello there!  Hope you are having a great weekend!  Today, I made my first Artfully Sent Cricut Cartridge card.  It is a "Pop-up" card!  A SUPER POP-UP CARD!!!  These type of cards, are an interesting breed, but if I can do it, anyone can!  :)

I used the pop-up and icon keys, like it shows in the handbook.  Then I used the sentiment card key for the front of the card.  I just backed the words with scrap paper, to make them pop a little.

On the inside, I used a couple of scrap strips on the edge and used 3D Foam tape to lift up the "Happy Birthday" a little bit.  I also edged the front and inside of the card, with a  Dauber and Black inkBecause Real Super Heroes get dirty!

I think the 10 year old that will be receiving this, will love it!  Don't you?!  :)

Hope you enjoyed it!  Have a fantastic day!
