Framed - For You & Thanks!

Hi everyone!  These were inspired by the wonderful people, who teach my child, on Wednesday nights.  My son is very good.  He is two and a half and has his moments, but for the most part, very good.  When I work on Wednesday nights at my church, my son goes to class.  Lately, he has been having a little challenge with separation.  These teachers have been so patient and such a blessing, I wanted to let them know how much they are appreciated.

I used Cranberry & Honey inks - Gold Shimmer Trim & embellishments.

Now, there is a story as to why I chose the sun for a little card.  Okay, I will tell you!

One of the evenings, my son cried from the time I put him in class, until I picked him up, about two hours later.  Yep, the whole time.  I was in contact with them throughout the process.  One of the teachers took the one on one time with him, so I could do what I was there for, help other parents get their children checked into class.  I want her to know that she was a bright spot, in a not so bright situation.

Stamp of the Month - Rose Blossom Blog Hop

Welcome!  If you have come from Marg's blog, you are in the right place!  She always has something awesome and I cannot wait to see it myself!

Here it is!  My first shot at this months SOTM...

I only used two stamps from this set, but I used three inks: Barn Red, Cocoa & Juniper.  I started out with Colonial White cardstock and a small piece of Juniper.  I cut a PML card out of Jackson Paper from the Artfully Sent Cartridge.  Finished it off with the Edge Distresser, Liquid Glass and 3D Foam Tape.

Thistle - Typed Note

Hi again!  Hope your day is awesome!  Today, I decided to be monochromatic!  Wow!  That word is almost as bad as - supercalafragolisticexpealidocious!  Okay, maybe not.  :)

Here I started with a White Daisy Card base and then just used Whimsey Paper Fundamentals (Both sides of the Thistle colored sheet).

I used Thistle & Black Ink, the Edge Distresser and Thistle Extra Thick Twine. (NEW!!!)

The card is made with Colonial White Cardstock.  Stamped with Sweet leaf, Thistle and Sorbet for the "Thank you" (shadow technique).

A Snowhaven Happy Hello!

Here is a card that could be used for a guy or gal.  But, let's go with the guy!  I mean, if we are really honest with ourselves, there is way more stuff for gals then guys.  Which seems odd to me, because 1/2 the population is male!

Anyway, Black and Slate Stamp Pads with Metallic Bakers Twine.  A line of Silver Geometric Washi Tape on top of a piece of Snowhaven paper.

Simple Guy!

Hi there!  Thought I would get a post done quick, while my son should be taking a nap!(I can totally hear him not sleeping.)  :)

Here is another simple "guy" card.  Again, it is imperfect, but it still looks good.  You could put a sentiment on it if you wanted to, or just write on the inside!

Here is another project I came up with using the Free To Be Me paper pack (that you could win) and the January Stamp Of The Month.

This is a 5x8 legal pad!  It looks a lot nicer now though. :)

I put a little pocket inside the cover.  I also used  Hook and Loop Dots, to keep the "door" shut.

Just a real simple way to dress up a legal pad.
