Rose Blossom Blog Hop

Welcome!  Especially if you came from I Didn't Have Potatoes!

This... may be one of the hardest things to do for me.  So, with the comfort of my Master (just in case you are not sure who I mean, it is Jesus.), here goes...

Why am I a Close to my Heart Consultant?  For the Artbooking cartridge, of course!  Well, that is only part of it.  This could take way more time then I have to write it, as well at the time you want to read it!  Let's see what happens.

Yes.  I wanted to make it a business.  Do what I love and make a little money at the same time.  Staying at home with my son, thought it would be a good idea.  My son, however, takes way more time that I even imagined.  So, that part is not really going according to plan.

However, getting to know all the people on the Rose Blossom team, has been a blessing.  Me, being the "sweet" personality that I am, opens up easily to new people. :)  Okay, so that was a bit of sarcasm, which I know is not a good thing, so I apologize.  These gals are such beautiful people, inside and out.  They will help you at the drop of a hat.  No matter what it is.  This may be, the only reason, that I am still a consultant.

That is all I am going to say about that!

This is a Bluebird My Crush Book.  I started putting this together, after our meeting in January.  We all swapped valentines.  Miss Brenda, made the lovely card on the left and also gave us a little gift bag.  It was a good day!

Now, let's see what Kim has for us!

Rose Blossom Seasonal Expressions Blog Hop

Hi there!  If you have come from I Didn't Have Potatoes, welcome!  Marg had something beautiful, I know!  I can't wait to see it myself!  Welcome!  No matter how you ended up here!

I have actually done a two page layout!  I know!  I am as shocked as you are!  :)
Don't get me wrong, I love to scrapbook!  My terrific two year old, however, takes a lot of my time.

I was determined to use the Hopscotch Paper Pack, to make a BOY layout!!!  Yea, that's right!  A BOY layout!  I believe it has been accomplished!  My sweet boy is in the pictures.  He was pushing a truck, he received from his Grandpa, this last July.

To BOY it up a little more, I used the Fast and Furious (D1541) Stamp Set.  It worked perfectly with my photos. (I actually cannot wait, to use this set a lot more.  I love it!)  The Artbooking Cartridge for the background and the Sunset Chevron Washi Tape, was the perfect compliment, to the patterned paper.

Hope you enjoyed it!  Be blessed!

Now you are off to Shelly's Pretty Piece!  She will have something wonderful!  I will be seeing it soon too.

"SUPER" Artfully Sent

Hello there!  Hope you are having a great weekend!  Today, I made my first Artfully Sent Cricut Cartridge card.  It is a "Pop-up" card!  A SUPER POP-UP CARD!!!  These type of cards, are an interesting breed, but if I can do it, anyone can!  :)

I used the pop-up and icon keys, like it shows in the handbook.  Then I used the sentiment card key for the front of the card.  I just backed the words with scrap paper, to make them pop a little.

On the inside, I used a couple of scrap strips on the edge and used 3D Foam tape to lift up the "Happy Birthday" a little bit.  I also edged the front and inside of the card, with a  Dauber and Black inkBecause Real Super Heroes get dirty!

I think the 10 year old that will be receiving this, will love it!  Don't you?!  :)

Hope you enjoyed it!  Have a fantastic day!

Pathfinding/ Yuletide Carol Clothespin Duo...

One side Fall, the other Christmas!  On a 6" clothespin!

What is this?  Well, I will tell you!  I love the thought of using clothespins to hold photos.  However, I thought it would be nice to have one pin, with two purposes.

The first side, I used Pathfinding Workshop on the Go.  What a beautiful workshop!  Using one sheet of patterned paper from the pack and Colonial White paper, where I used the Goldrush stamp pad and one of the stamps from the set, to make my own patterned paper.  I also used the Chocolate and Autumn Terracotta ink pads for the leaves and heart.  Yes, I cut the leaves and heart out by hand!  :)  Not exactly my strong suit, but I think they look good.

Okay, so here on the Christmas side I used the Yuletide Carol Workshop on the Go.  Using the CTMH Artbooking Cricut Cartridge, I cut out the cute little tickets and stamped them with the awesome stamp set that comes with the workshop.  I stamped the tickets with the Cranberry ink pad and edged it with the Ponderosa Pine ink pad.  I also took Liquid Glass and put it over the stamped pine leaf.  It gives it a nice glossy pop I think.

I hope you enjoyed it!  Have a fantastic day!

Don't miss a post!  Follow by email on the right!

Triple 6x6 Canvas

Good day to you all!  Hope you are having a terrific fall day.  Here in Minnesota, Fall is my favorite season!

I am not able to take full credit for this project.  A friend of mine purchased these 6x6 canvases from me this Spring and had not had time to work on them.  So, I had an open crop at my house and helped her get them done.
It is a retired paper packet, but we used Crystal Blue Paper and Ink, Cocoa Ink and Cashmere Paper and added a little bling with Gold Sequins.  The Dreamer stamp set is not featured in the new Idea Book, but is still available.

Using 3D Foam Tape, we raised the Crystal Blue and Cashmere paper off the patterned paper for depth.  We added even more depth by popping up the Heart, Dream and Butterfly, on each of the separate canvases.

Hope you enjoyed this project!  Have a fantastic day!
