Winter Butterfly...

Hey there!  So, this card was all about messing aroud with stuff.  It is not perfect by any stretch of the imagination.  :)

I made it for a family member!  These are the best times to try new things.  :)

It is a fun little card.  If I had to do it over, there would be a few things I would do differently.  But, that is okay!  From the heart!  That is the main thing.  Don't get me wrong, I like to have things look good.  However, there are times when it is okay to let it go!  Especially when it comes to family!!!

Here are the supplies I used...

50 Years!

**This post contains affiliate links and I will be compensated if you make a purchase after clicking through my links.

Do you know anyone who has made it to Fifty years of marriage?  It is definitely an accomplishment in today's world.  Now days, people treat marriage like a pez dispenser.  "Nope, I don't think I like you" and throw them off to the side for something "better".  As if they, are a perfect pleasure, to be around all the time. It takes commitment (Whoo.  Commitment, do people even know what that word means anymore?) and work, but most of all God.  If we allow Him to guide us, it will be a much better road.

Okay, now to the pretty stuff...

I used a Darice Embossing Folder, with my Cuttlebug to emboss the Gold Vellum and paper. I also used Design Space with my Explore, to make the "50 years" circle.  The font is Ashlyn's Alphabet (cursive).   I also use pop up squares, some gold sequins and a little ribbon to finish the project.

Now, some BIG NEWS......

Thank you for the Zucchini!

Good day to you all.  I hope your day is wonderful!
Today, I have a fun card, that was made for a couple that had given us a zucchini.  We had made Zucchini Fries and they wanted the recipe.  I wanted to thank them for the zucchini anyway, so I made them this card...

I embossed over the fry tips and top of card for effect, to show the texture of the crumbs :)
I also used a little foam tape on the top, between the sets of fries, to separate them a little.  glued the bottom together, so it is tapered.
