Surgery Sucks! - Get Well

** I will be compensated if you make a purchase after clicking through my links
HI!  Hope you are having a fantastic day!  Today I have a couple things...

1. A simple 'get well' card -

These sort of go along with an earlier post I did, with all the Corn Husker stuff!
These are for the recipient of the kidney.  If you saw that post, you know my sister-in-law gave a kidney to her Uncle.  That is who this is for, Uncle John!

2. A 'surgery sucks' jar -

I actually found this idea on pinterest and tweaked it to how I wanted it!  I knew I wanted to use candy and a jar, but the 'surgery sucks' with the tootsie pops, was what I got from pinterest.
What I used to make both of these is...
My Tape Glider
Cricut Explore
Cricut Design Space
Hot Glue Gun
Pop-ups
Indie Art
B is for Boy
Outdoor Man
Tootsie Pops

Hope you likes it!  Have a blessed day!

Go Big Red!!! - Get Well Soon!

** I will be compensated if you make a purchase after clicking through my links.

Hi there!  So, today I have a couple of things...
These were all given to my sister-in-law!  Why?  1. She just gave a kidney to her Uncle!  How awesome is that!  2. She is a HUGE Nebraska Corn Husker Fan!!!

I was thinking, what could I possible get her???  Then the inspiration came - Huskers!  I figured there is no way I could go wrong!

Here is the card...

The balloon (from stretch your imagination) and logo were cut on my Explore.  I just used a calligraphy pen for the black "string".

Here is a jar...

I also use my Cricut Explore and Design space for the logos!  I used Black and Red Vinyl, plus Transfer Paper to get it on the jar - correctly!  :)
Yes!  I had candy in it! :)

Here is a plaque...

This is a 3 1/2" x 10 1/2 " piece of wood - It has a cove edge.  I painted part of it by hand - the base red, white edge and "N".  The "Huskers" and "GBR!", I cut with my Explore and Design Space.  I took liquid glass (from CTMH) to attach the paper to the wood.  Because it is glossy, I "painted" it over the whole plaque!  It's not as perfect as I would have liked, but I think it turned out good.
Thanks for stopping by!

If your a Huskers fan, Go Huskers!!!  I, however, am from Minnesota, GO GOPHERS!!!!!

Hope you enjoyed it!  Have a blessed day!

Candy Jar

** I will be compensated if you make a purchase after clicking through my links.
Hey everyone!  Here is something you can do with your spaghetti sauce jars!  It is really simple and a great gift for any occasion.

You can take paper and wrap it around the jar - I use a hot glue
gun, to secure it.  Then, you can use your Cricut to cut out the images you want to use.  I used Indie Art (strawberry) & From My Kitchen (candy sign) Cartridges to make my candy sign.

The one on the left has a cover of paper. Yeaaahh, that was not easy.  I think it took me, at least, 15 minutes to get that Bakers Twine around it!  It was an unnecessary test of my patience! ;)  I want to stay away from them!!!

As you can see, I did not do that, with the one on the right!  :)  In the future I will use fabric or nothing at all!
I took a thin piece of paper and put it on the lip of the jar and added Bakers Twine.  Now you can have them popping out the top!

Have a blessed day!  Thank you for stopping!
