Boat Wedding!

Well hello there!  Today, I have a wedding card for a couple, who gets married on a boat.  Not a bad way to get married, right?

There are a few different elements from a few different Cartridges on this one.  They are as follows:
The bride & groom are from the CTMH Artiste Cartridge.
The boat & water are from the Stand and Salute Cartridge.
The cattail border is from the Paper Dolls Everyday Cartridge.
The smaller trees are from the Heritage Cartridge.
The larger, darker tree is from the Botanicals Cartridge

As you can see, I used a blue background for the sky and piled everything else on top of that.  First I attached the large dark tree and then the smaller, lighter trees.  After putting the boat together, I popped it up and then placed the bride and groom where I wanted them.  After that, I put in the cattails and the water on top of that.

This is a 5x7 card and as you can see, I left a space at the bottom for the sentiment. I also edged the entire card with a Color Box Cat's Eye ink pad - these are great for edging!

I hope this inspires you to make something beautiful and custom, for someone in your life!  Or, you could have me do it!😉
Thanks so much for stopping by & hope you have a beautiful day!

Hello there!  Hope you are having a beautiful day!

Recently, a friend of mine got married.  Here is the 5x7 card I made...

HERE is the Design Space Link!

I think this card turned out well, seeing as I was not sure how to go about making him darker.  Thank the Lord for inspiration!

Originally, he was the same color as she was. - Okay, I am talking the card here! - (Just to be clear)  :)
I used a Clay- BR116 ShinHan Touch Twin alcohol marker, to make him darker.  (You can get this single marker from a CTMH comsultant - the blogs to the right are all CTMH gals, any one of them could help you.)
The couple themselves are from the Sweethearts Cricut Cartridge.  I used Design Space & my Explore to do this.

To make the ring shine on her finger, I used Silver Stickles and I used the Cuttlebug, with a Damask Embossing Folder, to create the background on the card.

This was fun and a little challenging, to make.  But, totally worth it if they love it!

A few other things I used to complete this card are...

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a beautiful day!

Remember, God loves you & Jesus is Lord!
